I received a flyer about Ocean Fun Days 2010 in the latest bill for our beach house from NJ Natural Gas.  It seemed kind of interesting, so I thought I’d share it with all of you… London and Maddie’s softball schedule conflicts with the Saturday event in Seaside Park, but maybe we’ll see you in Sandy Hook on Sunday, May 23rd…

Where can you find marine creatures, scientists, environmentalists, families, kids and fun?  At the seventh annual Ocean Fun Days!  Don’t miss this great weekend celebrating the natural wonders of the Jersey Shore with hands-on programs, exhibits and eco-tours.  Activities include:

  • Seining Lessons
  • Coastal Crafts
  • Eco Tours and Workshops
  • Children’s Games and Prizes
  • Youth Fishing Clinics
  • Sandcastle Workshops
  • Research Tours
  • Face Painting
  • Touch Tanks and Exhibits
  • Giveaways and More…don’t miss the famous fiddler crab races!

Learn from marine scientists, researchers and environmentalists about the treasures of our coastline and how to protect our shore habitat for years to come.
